Visitors

So on Sunday, Kolby Carpenter brought down a load full of kids and distributed them at different apartments in Logan. Let off at my apartment were Katelin, Erika Doman (a.k.a Riki) and Baylee. Kolby dropped off Zach Searle, Garrett and Kord Carpenter at his friends apartment who live at Old Farm.

I was pretty excited to have some visitors. We didn't do anything to exciting during their stay, but I had fun with them. Sunday night we played a few games of Whoonu. It is a game with the same concept of Apples to Apples except with a few different rules. That was a good game to play because it actually made my roommates join in on the fun and learn some things about our visitors.

On Monday I had to go to work, after work as I was walking home I saw three familiar girls walking by the hper. The girls got bored sitting in my apartment so they decided to go on a walk up to campus and watch the football camp boys. We walked around campus and then went and visited Whit in her office. After our walk we went grocery shopping and then went back to my place, made dinner, and lounged around on my bedroom floor since it was covered in air mattresses and blankets all week.

Tuesday was the same thing, I woke up, tried not to step on any of the girls, and went to work. After work we went up the canyon to our favorite fire pit and roasted marsh mellows. Allison Ramsey also joined in on that fun.Wednesday I woke up at 6:30 folded laundry, called into work and told them I was playing that day, did the dishes, took out the garbage, got the mail, and started getting ready all before the sleepy heads finally woke up. After they were up we made lunch for two boys that were in Katelins' grade who just moved to Oakridge. One of the boys is also Riki's cousin. After that we headed off on our adventure. I took Bay to her first ever trip to Smith and Edwards. I don't know if she was very impressed. After getting lost and found again we got to the Layton Mall and killed time there. After a couple hours there we headed to Salt Lake to meet up with Whitney, Brian, Zach, Garrett, and Kord at a Bees game.

The game was great it was even Wienershnitzel night so hot dogs were only $1. The Bees won and Kord even got lucky and got a foul ball, by the help of Brian. After the game they handed out loaves of Sara Lee bread. We came out scoring 6 loaves just between us 4 girls. After a long day we finally headed home while jammin to some gangster tunes, will cruisin in the low riding lincoln. haha fun times. We made it home in one piece, without Baylee dieing, and only breaking a few traffic laws.

It was a lot of fun to have those girls down here. I forgot how much I freakin love Katelin. It was like old times. I am really excited to have her down here next year! Watch out Logan.

Looks like a good time! I'm glad you had fun with them. You totally scored at the Bee's game, and it wasn't so bloody hot like the game we went to! The bread seems so random, but Kate is totally working it.

Well I guess after pretty much every game they hand out Sara Lee bread because they sponsor the Bees.

Oh I remember the days of summer when work wasn't so controlling. Sound like a good time.
