Hanging of El Bandito

This past summer my husband and I went to the Pickleville Playhouse to see the play. The hanging of El Bandito. My husband was unsure of plays and this one in particular. We both ended up loving every second of this play. The characters were so funny, and we could tell they actors love doing what they do. http://www.picklevilleplayhouse.com/

This play also convinced my husband that plays aren't bad after all and he even bought me tickets to the Pickleville Christmas play. We both died laughing in that one too.

When we found out that they were showing El Bandito again in Logan we instantly wanted to go. They are doing three shows during two days (February 13 and 15.)

We highly recommend this show to anyone who is in Logan that weekend and is looking for a night of side splitting, good acting, fun. The man who writes these plays (T.J. Davis) is such a hilarious man and does such a good job.

We love Pickleville plays and will keep attending them. Keep up the good work!

Big One

So this is a pretty monumental post for me. Not only is it announcing that I got married about a month and a half ago (Nov. 6th), but this is also my 50th post. So Hooray!

Manila

So this past weekend a group of us took a trip down to M Town. I feel as if the town knows me now. We had a great weekend doing the normal Manila thing. We did get a grand entrance into town this time though. As soon as we pulled into town we stopped at the rodeo arena and jumped on the wagon with Ty and the rest of the boys and entered the arena to take care of the barrels.

On Saturday I got to ride in the water truck with Ty and water the arena and then we all went and jumped in the lake. I never seemed to have my camera there when we needed it. But it was a busy weekend. We never ate dinner before11, or went to bed before 2. Who knew M Town is such a happening place.
Oh and I got pulled over on the way home, and didn't get a ticket. Hooray for kind police men.

Foot In Mouth

So we have a roommate calendar which we write important things on. Such as when we are going home, work schedules, and holidays. Last month our one roommates, A, wrote "Grandma C's surgery". So the weekend before Grandma C's surgery I was home alone and everyone else was gone to Burley. Saturday night I got a phone call from a friend who had also been spending some time with roommate A. He notified me that A had just told him her grandma had past away that morning. I called roommate K and told her the news. The next day was spent calling our parents to tell them the news and see if they could find anything else out about it. After a couple days there was no death notice in the paper but we were all certain Grandma C had been the one that had died considering she was supposed to have surgery on Monday. Roommate A finally came back to Logan for work so we suprised her at work with flowers, because her dear Grandma C just died. That night the other three roommates, J, K, and T were sitting at dinner at Wendy's roommate J got a text from her mother telling her it was not Grandma C that had died but Great Grandma C that died. This was a relief to all of us that it was not Grandma C but we then soon realized he had told everyone that Grandma C died. They also probably told their families about it. We knew we needed to stop this rumor so we called our parents and they all got a good laugh. It has then been a running joke all summer.

Fast forward to last night. The roommates were sitting around the living room visiting with A's cousin. He had a picture on his phone and roommate J asked about it. He continued to tell us it was breakfast he had eaten at his grandmas. Roommate K then asked "The living one right?" Then Cousin replied with a meek "No." The rest of us could not contain ourselves. We all died laughing. Probably not the correct thing to do in that situation but it was just a good moment of foot in mouth. We can just never remember which grandparents are alive or not.

High School Musical 3-Senior Year

So tonight is going to be a "night to remember!" High School Musical 3 is finally coming out! I bought the soundtrack on Monday and have been getting ready all week long. My roommates and I have our tickets and we're "all in this together" as we fight little girls for the best seat in the house. I also get to go see it again tomorrow night. I am a bit nervous Disney might try to continue the movies on after this one, but I am sure you can "bet on it" that this one won't disappoint. Go Wildcats!
