So one of my largest pet peeves are annoying people. And this week was full of them it seemed.
Tuesday was my the first day of my wards girls camp. We were all supposed to meet at the church at 10, and that day the other ward was having a funeral at about 11. So instead of using their heads, all the girls and leaders parked in front of the door and unloaded there stuff. Of course people started showing up and had to park a mile away and walk around the girls crap. So I figured no one would come up with the bright idea and move out of the way. So I walked over and told all the girls to move, and surprisingly enough they all thought it was a good idea!
After we finally got on the road and to camp we encountered a few other stupid people but camp went well. Until it was time to go...we all at breakfast and then did the dishes. And I guess when you go camping and you are ready to leave all of your stuff gets magically cleaned up and loaded in the trailer. Thats never how it has been when I go camping, but all the girls and leaders except Sydney, never learned how to load stuff up. So Sydney and I grabbed two Beehives and made them help us pack all the kitchen up and haul it over to the trailer. I know that Young Women is the girls program but hello leaders you can help too.
After we finally got loaded up and left the camp grounds and hour and half later then we were supposed to be out of there. We all went swimming at Nat-So-Pah. It was a beautiful day, the water was perfect, and we were all together. My one friend always thinks she has to be the center of attention, and so one way was showing off on the diving board. Every time she got up there she would have to call to everyone to watch. A couple of times she had to pose and have people take pictures of her (annoying). She was working on her swan dive (I'm not a swan diver, but I still could see what she was doing wrong) and so after her dive she would ask me how it looked. I told her it was good; she just had to get more height. And I guess that is the wrong answer (when someone asks you how something was, ALWAYS lie and say it was great.) So she told me to get up there and show her how great mine was. So me being me, and having enough of everyone. I get up on the diving board and prepared myself for my "dive". I ran to the end of the board and totally belly flopped it (on purpose.) I came to the surface and saw my friend laughing and the beehives swimming over to see if I was alright. My friend said "Nice dive!" and me being my bratty self said "Well I got more attention then you did." and swam off. Later one beehive was still worried about the incident and was telling me that as soon as I hit the water the whole pool went silent. Looked like my plan worked.
Friday was my day to work, and so I walk into work thinking everything was like it was supposed to be. Until I noticed pallets of things we usually get on Tuesdays were still on the floor. Then Cory (a guy that works with me) came up and asked me if I had heard anything about Al (the kid that works with me and who was supposed to work while I was at girls camp.) I said no and Cory then told me Al hadn't shown up...all week. Being a little irritated at him because now I had to do all the work he was supposed to do. At about 5:45 I get a call from Al and he leaves a message telling me that when I get done with work, I need to call him. I get off work 15 min. later and give him a call. Of course my friend that I had problems with at the pool the day before answers the phone and invites me to go boating with everyone. I ask her if I could speak to Al and he then invites me to go boating too. I knew if I went, I would end up blowing up at either one or the other one of those two. So I actually was grateful I had the excuse "I have a date tonight with Chase."
I really didn't know if I had a date with Chase or not. Since he had called at 10:30 the night before and interrupted my nap. I couldn't remember if I had agreed to go on the date with him since I was still half asleep. Dang people don't call while I am sleeping.
I get home and decide the best way is to wait and see if Chase calls or shows up. At about 6;30 he calls and tells me he will be there at 7:30 to pick me up. He picked me up and we head up to Oakley for the rodeo. As some people know, while we were at Featherville Chase had asked me to dance at about 1 in the morning but I turned him down. (Poor kid I always turn him down.) There was another time he had asked me to dance but I turned him down then too. So while we were on our way to the rodeo he told me that after the Rodeo was the dance. He thought he was very smart and clever for tricking me into this whole thing.
All rodeos are good. This one had a lot of cows, horses, and guys in wranglers. Except this on was one of the not good. Chase sat there and talked to his friends and of course Braden and Kolby showed up. Braden never said hi to me and ignored me like he has been doing for about the last 2 weeks. The whole time since Braden had showed up Chase had been telling me to go to talk to him. I had to keep telling him no since I was on a date and I wasn't going to do that. But I should have.
After the rodeo we headed to the park. There was good music playing from a local band, and everyone in Oakley. I saw some people I knew so I was talking to them when Braden walked past and said we had to dance later. After I was done talking to the people me and Chase went and dance a song and then went and stood back by his friends. On the next slow song Braden came and got me, we danced and had a good time. I wasn't really in the best mood though and I knew he could tell something was wrong. After that song was over I went back and was standing by Braden for a little bit. Then I decided I needed to go stand by my date. So I walk back over by Chase and get greeted by a shocked face and "Wow you came back!" Which lead into a little agruement. (I still don't get it because he told me at the rodeo I should go talk to Braden....GUYS!) Chase and I danced to another slow song and then were standing around and he was telling me how I just need to loosen up and go make a fool of myself up front. He kept begging me to go swing dance, even though he didn't know how, and I don't know very much. I wasn't in the best mood and so I told him no. On the next song our friend Owen asked me to go swing and I told him I didn't know how. Which is the wrong answer because Owen of course will teach you. Owen grabbed me and drug me out in the center of the floor. After the song was over we went walking back over by Chase and I was laughing (one of the first times the whole night.) This mad Chase a little mad, and Owen knew it was. So when the next faster song came on Owen grabbed me once again in front of Chase and took me out to dance. After that Chase was pretty bitter with me. So we got in another little fight. After we stood around for a little bit we decided to go home. When we left I walked past Braden and said goodbye to him. We were heading to the car and Chase asked "Why don't you just stay and have Braden take you home" (hmmm tempting idea) I said no since I came with Chase I would go home with Chase.
On the way home we agrued a little bit more. When we were almost home (I could see the welcoming lights) he decided to stop the car a little before the canal bridge and dance since he said I wouldn't at the dance. So we ended up dancing in the middle of the bridge under the stars, cute song playing playing on the radio...SO CUTE! If only I had liked the kid and had have fun on my date! After the song was over I was so tempted to just walk home, I was the ready for my date to be over! But of course I was trying to be a good date so I let him drive me home walk me to the door and give me a hug goodbye!
So now everyone probably thinks I have one of the worst attitudes but if I don't have to deal with stupid annoying people all week, I really don't have that kind of attitude.

Oh little girl. I'm sorry about annoying people, but it sounds like your date ended well.
